Broad Sky purchases wholesale blocks of satellite capacity so we’re not tied to specific service platform. This provides us the flexibility to ‘right size’ the service for each and every location. Our sales engineers and partners will customize equipment and speed packages based on location, number or users and types of applications. Many enterprise clients have various satellite services since a single remote tele-worker and a larger manufacturing facility or branch office have very different requirements. Our service are designed to be a WAN alternative to T-1’s, xDSL and Cable services. In addition, many sites can’t suffer extended Internet service outages without impacting all aspects of the business and our services are ideal for primary but all for redundancy.

SkyLink

Powered by WildBlue Enterprise solutions is a very reliable for power users NOT needing to connect back to a corporate headquarters via an IPSec VPN, use Citrix applications or needing to support VoIP. Why SkyLink versus WildBlue direct? SkyLink offers ~35% higher Fair Access Policy (FAP) than WildBlue retail, consolidated billing, static IP’s and 1 meter dish for more reliable services during inclement weather. SkyLink uses either WildBlue1 or Anik F-2 satallites.

Enterprise

Our Enterprise service has been our most successful service offering due to its low equipment and service cost while offering extremely reliable service. Enterprise meets the needs of Tele-Workers, Retailers, Branch Offices and the largest corporate headquarters for primary Internet or redundancy. LinkStar™ is the highest performance VSAT system with round trip ping times in the 600ms range allowing corporate network managers who are in need of supporting any VPN or VoIP service just as they would at any terrestrial based location. LinkStar's edge is in its dynamic bandwidth allocation that makes it more efficient and faster than other TDMA systems. Terminals can transmit data to the network hub at speeds up to 512Kbps, with data downloads up to 4 Mbps, satisfying bandwidth-intensive applications using IP data. Enterprise uses the former Horizon’s 1 satellite now referred to as Galaxy 13.

Enterprise Plus

This iDirect platform is one of the most robust. It can meet any need and with access to the following satellites AMC-4, AMC-6, SatMex 5 and IA-7 we can offer service from the Caribbean , throughout Mexico and into South America , the entire United States with some of complete service by each satellite and most of Alaska . This service can support the same types of services as Enterprise but at slightly higher equipment costs and substantially higher bandwidth charges. Unlike many competitors we have NO hidden activation or overage charges.

NetLink- Powered by ViaSat Surfbeam

This service was one of our best sellers until all of the Surfbeam HUB service providers added new software that double and tripled ping times preventing the effective use of VoIP and limiting the performance of some VPN’s. This service still meets some clients needs but due to the ping times in the 1200ms range and the reliability of our Enterprise services we’ve stopped offering an Service Level Agreement with this service and are very cautious to selling to any client except in extreme cases where line of sight may impede all other services. NetLink uses AMC-9 satellite.
